21stCCLC Grant

In accordance with the application instructions from the Illinois State Board of Educations (ISBE), Bloom District 206 is pleased to announce our intent to  apply for the Nita M. Lowery  21st Century Community Learning Center (21stCCLC) grant for the 2021-2022 school year.  The 21st CCLC grant which is authorized  by the United States Department of Education’s Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE)  supports the creation of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children. The program helps students meet state and local student standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; and offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs.  This notice is not a guarantee that Bloom District 206 will be awarded, it is only the intent to apply.
