A longtime educator, Glynis Keene stepped into a familiar space when taking on the role of principal at Bloom Trail High School in 2018.
With 13 years of classroom experience and a decade of work at the school administrative level, Keene has served youth in many ways throughout her career as an educator. She taught in Chicago and Cicero. She was a Division Chair at Crete-Monee and AP for Teaching and Learning at East Aurora. And in between those experiences, she taught French and English at Bloom High School.
Mrs. Keene’s top priorities as principal include building more bridges to the community as well as encouraging students to join clubs and other extracurricular activities, further developing a sense of community and school spirit that encourages academic success and character building.
