Bloom 206 Unveils New District Logo

The Bloom Township High School District 206 crest has received an updated look. The shield, which features the iconic Bloom Trojan and Bloom Trail Torch, has been upgraded to a contemporary design with a brighter color scheme.

Bloom 206 Superintendent Lenell Navarre said the change is representative of a new era for the district, which has recently announced renovations to its historic Sarff and Hap Bruno fields as well as new programming, including Pre-Advanced Placement courses for all incoming freshmen.

“In the past few years we’ve seen our graduation rates climb, with students earning more scholarships than ever before,” Navarre said. “With programs like the Early College Initiative, as well as our IT, Barber and Certified Nursing Assistant Programs, we are seeing a powerful evolution of our district. We’re entering a new era, and our crest should reflect that.”

The new logo is one of many changes happening within the district. Bloom Trail High School recently hired a new principal, Glynis Keene, in the wake of Deb Graham’s recent retirement. The district will also unveil a refreshed website in conjunction with the start of the 2018-2019 school year.
