Dear Parents/Guardians of Senior Students:

We are proud of the accomplishments of our students and look forward to celebrating their achievements.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not able to gather for an onsite celebration. However, we have planned a virtual graduation, which still allows us to honor our students through a commemorative celebration. Knowing that our students want an opportunity to say goodbye to many of their classmates and staff, we look forward to having a picnic for our seniors sometime next school year. Please take note of the information below.

Cap & Gown Distribution/Textbook Return/Item from lockers Disseminated:

May 14th & May 15th- 8:00am to 2:00pm

Cap & Gowns (Cottage Grove side of the building):

On May 14 and 15 from 8:00am to 2:00pm, caps and gowns will be distributed. Within the bag, you will also find any honors cords or medallions, if applicable, that seniors can wear when taking pictures.  When picking up the cap and gown please tape on the passenger window and the back window of your vehicle, a sheet of paper that has the student’s first and last name, ID# and locker # if known.  Please print it large enough to be visible from 6 ft. away and use a black marker if possible.  If you have non-senior students as well, list them on the sign too.  Keep this sheet visible at all times while on campus.  Please open your trunk so that we can put the cap and gown bag inside. All individuals are to remain within their vehicle at all times when picking up the student’s cap & gown.

Textbook return (Sauk Trail side of the building):

Within any type of plastic bag, please place any textbooks, calculators or school supplies that are District 206 property. It is very important that within the bag, there is a sheet of paper with the student’s first and last name, as well as a list of items that are within the bag.  If you have other students who attend Bloom Trail, you will be able to drop off their items as well.

Per CDC guidelines, it is very important that we continue to practice social distancing. All individuals are to remain within their vehicle at all times when returning textbooks.

Items disseminated from locker (Sauk Trail side of the building):

We will clean out all students’ lockers. A staff member will place a plastic bag with any locker items that belong to the student within the trunk of your vehicle.  Students will only receive items that were found in their assigned locker.  If you have other students who attend Bloom Trail, you can pick up their locker contents along with those of your senior.
